Ask MVS or YAWA.
This has not been done in a while. Who here has a live journal...and who will help me get signed up?

Ok, to those of you who have or are looking to create a live journal, what do they do for you? Honestly? I don't particularly care for the idea of sharing my private life/thoughts with others whom I may barely know.

beats having an actually physical journal that can be stolen or broken into. you dont have to share it with anyone if you dont want to either. they are different levels. Public, so that everyone can read it, friends only, which is self-explainitory, and private which can only be read by the journal owner. so really you're private life/thoughts can stay your own.

Ah, I hadn't realized that. I've seen many a person link to them.
One question though. If the journal's private, why not just save it in a word file on your computer?
Edit:
Two, sorry. Why do you need someone to help you sign up? Is it like a sponser or something?

word files can be deleted accidentaly, also there're not password protected.
livejournal, when I signed up was free, but now its a paid serive for an account unless you get a code from some one with a paid account. or like me an old free one. but I only got one and I've already given it away. they get around 20 I believe or some number akin to that... beats paying.

Ah, that's interesting. Thanks for the answers. Perhaps I'll look into this.
