Exhibition Demo Disk for Xbox

I bought this demo disc, knowing full well that the demos on the disc are ones that I already own on OXM discs. I thought, however, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to play the demos instead of having to fight my Xbox to make it read the OXM discs correctly? Its also nice not to have to wade through filler content and spam.

I splurged and spent $4.99 at Best Buy to get the disc, much cheaper than an issue of OXM, and without the annoying magazine attached. If you want to buy it elsewhere, such as EB, just make sure you tell them to price-match Best Buy as everyone else has it for MSRP, $7.99.

This demo disc is DEFINITELY worth the fiver I spent on it. It has some great stuff, more solid versions of the demos, cool music, and some neat additional content. Oh, and I forgot to mention that there is a coupon for a free copy of Amped if you buy NFL Fever 2003. That’s two games for $30, the going rate for Fever 2003. Its not a must buy, but if you have ever had problems with the OXM discs, or are interested in the additional content, by all means check this out.

PS: Forgot to mention but the menus are nice too, much better and to the point than the OXM menus.

Thanks for the heads up. I already have most of the demos, but I'm having a hell of a time getting the DOA upgrade disc without spending a lot. Whee!

Not bad actually, $8 for a shitty demo disc w/ less on it or 5 for a demo disc that works and much more on it. Very worthwhile actually.

if you didn't already pick up the oxm this month for panzer...this is a must purchase...especially since it is a disc produced my ms themselves and not one of those shitty oxm ones...

Seeing as OXM _still_ hasn't sent my replacement disc with the Orta demo I might get this whenever I finally pick up Tekki.

I personally hope these demo disks drive OXM out of business, but I'm biased... against crap.
