Thread: Direct Feed of Capcom's five GameCube games

  1. I saw all the vids in my school computer and they all look fantastic. Too bad I couldn't hear any sound though, I would have liked to have heard that one.

  2. Viewtiful Joe = Greatness, Why I still play videogames.

  3. Viewtiful Joe. Yeah, this thread gave me high expectations while my 56k modem was doing its thing, but damn. I think I am going to buy a Cube.

  4. check out viewtiful joe's girl, sylvia..

    "Is it cold in here?"

hm.. sylvia.. reminds me of the old Kung Fu on NES..

    SAVE SYLVIA FROM MR X
MK2 on XBLA plz - let the unfolding of gameplay begin!!

Me. I'm now treating myself to an Xbox and a Gamecube this holiday.

    Good times are a-comin'.

  6. Well, I'm pretty excited about these games as well. Now I have no fear that I wont have anything to play on my Cube next year

Still, dont understand all this raving about Viewtiful Jow. It might be a cool game, but it has this Power Rangers vibe, especially with campy character designs. Still, I will give it a try, but I not raising my expectations high.

RE4 is looking wonderful. Its good to see Leon back in action, and now after playing RE0 I'm hoping that Billy Cohen will get some action as well. It will be cool to see the new changes Capcom adding to the series. The enemies for example looked weird, and little too DMC like, not that I'm complaining

Other games also look wonderful. Killer 7 has an unique graphical style, and surrounded in mystery. And Dead Phoenix looks like excellent flying action game.

Hooray to Capcom. Next year will be awesome with these Cube offeringins and DMC2, Red Dead Revolver and Chaos Legion on PS2

For me, the pseudo-2D art just looks absolutely gorgeous, and seeing the apparent 2D-style gameplay has gotten me feeling all fuzzy-warm inside. As for the Power Rangers-esque character designs/vibe, I'm digging it. Why? Because the whole concept's corny (purposefully) and the dork in me - my dominant personality trait - loves it.

Well not everyone just likes those "dark action" games like you do. Kind of seems to me anything remotely cartoony or non-dark you snub, which sucks because you're missing out on certain games only on appearance.

  9. Well, I dont hate all cartoony or non dark themes. For example I love Sly Cooper style, or JSRF cell shaded style. Its camp style that I dont like, and Joe seems to represent that. I will still give it a try, since I trust Capcom
