Wow, I can't believe I didn't notice this thread before. Ming's going to be the #2 center in the L, no question. When a guy that tall can shoot that well from that far out, how do you cover him? Sure, him being that far out all the time means they need a 4 who can rebound like mad against a 5, but the Rockets are obviously way better with him than they are without him.

I'm more impressed with the fact that he CAN play inside. Most foreign players cannot. You can't shoot over 60 percent from the field by shooting jumpshots.
