Wow.

The movies look really, really good.

It has a Viewpoint meets Axelay look to it which I find most sexy.

Hopefully the gameplay can match it.

Maybe not ground breaking, but the action looks nice, and the graphics nicer. I'm going to have to pick this up. Love the classic arcade music too.

I'm actually one of the few who thought the first Iridion was decent, and this looks alot better.

Incredible. It does blow the first one away graphically- and the BGM is quite good as far as GBA tunes go.

Good, they fixed the perspective. There was just no gameplay to be had with the perspective of the first one. Now it looks like an actuall shmup, and the managed to keep those fantastic BG's. One of the few non-evil uses of pre-renders.

Well, Street Fighter 1 was bad compared to its sequel...

Now here we've got a game that actually looks nothing like its predecessor gameplay wise. Shin'en has apparently realized that scrapping the playstyle of the original is a wise move.

The first one would've worked better as a 1st person game without that ship blocking your view. The changes done to the sequel are hopefully for the better... it's like a whole new game.
