There's a comic that goes over it, it was in Nintendo Power a long ass time ago (based off Super Metroid). There was a thread about it and the others like it a long time ago. It actually fit surprisingly well into the overall story, I was surprised at that.

Well at the end of Fusion she gets her regular suit back because she fuses with the parasite that was in one of the SA-X clones.

Ironically, I noticed this not from beating Fusion, but from "uploading" the Fusion suits into Prime. The final Prime suit in Fusion style gives it away.

it didnt seem that way to me

maybe its from the screen being so small but the suit still looked like her fusion suit only that she got the Ice beam back

even in the final cut scene the suit still looked like the fusion suit


sure its the same color orange but look at it in the cut scenes she doesnt have the big ball things on top its just the fusion suit in orange

its not her original suit its the fusion suit but now she has the Ice Beams

and see for your self that that is most certainly not her original suit just the fusion suit in orange

I kinda wish that Fusion was not the most current chapter, rather had it be the Prequal I guess. Prime seems to be a better lead into the next game then Fusion, Fusion tried to many things I don't like. Like giving Samus so much personality, and creating new characters like that stupid Adam Computer, I hope we don't have to deal with that stupid computer calling her "Lady" in all the future sequals. Retro should be in charge now, they keep in more faithful.

As I'm playing more of Fusion, I'm appreciating it more for what it is, but at the same time, I don't want it to influence the future of the series - if we're lucky enough to even see another Metroid.

Well 1,2 and Super came out all with in a little closer time period. So maybe one other Metroid Sequal will come out before we have to wait another 8+ years.

if you see the interview with miyamoto and the retro guys they ask about a sequel and Miyamoto says something to the effect that you wont have to wait another 8 years for a sequel

so it would seem to me that another one will be done and will be done by retro

though i think itll take place after Fusion maybe thats why they have the Fusion suit unlockable in prime maybe its a hint of something

just a thought

I can't see how the next Metroid can outdo Prime. At best, I'm hoping for a Majora's Mask - a quirky gaiden that I'll happen to love, but most others will not.
