Salaries of game developers aren't exactly exposed all too often... And I think it's a tad bit higher than $2,000.

And what does that $2000 refer to.
Monthly, weekly, daily?
Monthly salary, I wager (pardon the pun!)
Not bad pay for a job at a games company when you factor in the benefits. It would be nice if they expounded upon the job requirements, unless Treasure's simply looking for on-the-job experience.
God knows. I foolishly thought/assumed it was $20k-40k a year when I divided... incorrectly.
only if I could....it would be like a dream come true. Damn!
If that's $2000 monthly that is like... poverty in japan. Poor Treasure employees.
If they paid me that over here I'd be damned happy. Certainly better then my approx $600 a month I currently get.Originally posted by Frogacuda

maybe $2000 isn't as bad as it sounds.
MK2 on XBLA plz - let the unfolding of gameplay begin!!
$24k is pretty crappy. Forget about living in a nice area (esp. in the city) or even owning a car. If you live with someone else, or haven't even left your family's house, you could survive. There was a time when job security was guaranteed (or so I heard/read) that would have justified those wages, but that's all over with Japan's economic bust of recent times. Actually, it is interesting that Treasure's hiring when other businesses in Japan can't afford to at this time.
