I have the PC version. It's a solid port, but I remember having trouble getting it to run. And I agree. It's a very fun game. Those were good times for Psygnosis.
I never did beat it or play the sequel but I enjoyed G-Police when it came out. It had a great cyberpunk atmosphere and it was a fun mission-based helicopter action game. It was also one of the first Playstation games to support the analog joystick(pre-Dual Shock). I haven't played the PC version but the Playstation version had a neat PC-like option to set draw distance versus frame rate.
Anyone else a fan?

It was pretty good , but it didnt hold up to colony wars.
I really, really wish SCEE Liverpool or whatever remains of Psygnosis would make a next-gen G-Police.

Yeah, that game was begging for more powerful hardware...good for what it was, though.

I actually hace two copies of the game for PC. Got them when i bought two Voodoo 2 cards to run in SLI mode. Man that seems like a long time ago...
I hated that game.
The pop-up was so extreme you coudln't see anything unless you were right on top of it.
More proof (alongside the remake of The Sentinel) that Psygnosis rocks. An excellent game. Probably the only helicopter game I can stand.

It was definately an ambitious game, but the game engine just couldn't deliver, although I found it playable.
It was a pretty tough game too. Especially some of the escort missions.
Look out, man, Wooly's gone ape-shit.
