You're thinking of Bubble Bobble.
These shots look pretty good. I see it's coming out in the EU on 12/13. Here's hoping it makes it to the USA.

Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
Very cool Bubble Bobble screens. That's a classic game. I think I might pick this one up. It's been a while since I have owned a version of BB.![]()
Bub has seen better days. Still the backgrounds look good.
Did anyone try the GBC Bubble Bobble?
I've been meaning to pick it up for a while, but it wasn't really made by Taito, so I was wary...
I just read this at the provided link:
«But if that wasn't enough, the Game Boy AdvanceTM version of Bubble Bobble Old & New will (possibly obviously?) contain 'Old' and 'New' versions of the game - with 'Old' being a perfect conversion of the original arcade game, and 'New' featuring all new (surprise!) graphics, music & sounds, level layouts and items.»
Wow, doubely cool...
Speaking of "old & new": That also reminds me, has anyone heard anything about "Elevator Action Old & New" since it was announced? I hope it's still coming, espeially if the "new" is similar to "Elevator Action Returns".
Holy shit. That would make my day. That also reminds me, has anyone heard anything about "Elevator Action Old & New" since it was announced? I hope it's still coming, espeially if the "new" is similar to "Elevator Action Returns".
When did Bub and Bob go on a diet? They need to eat more sweets.
Classic games like this don't sell too well anymore. I'm sure they want to slim down so that in their next game they can fit into tight jeans and holster tops.Originally posted by jiji

I've been hearing about "Elevator Action Old & New" since before Bubble Bobble Old & New came out in Japan, though I haven't seen any screens of it yet. But considering how lame the "new" portion of the afformentioned Bubble Bobble was, I'm not expecting the "new" portion of Elevator Action to be Elevator Action Returns, or anything like it. I'd like to be proven wrong, but these games are by some company named Media Kite, not Taito, so I'm not expecting to be blown away.Speaking of "old & new": That also reminds me, has anyone heard anything about "Elevator Action Old & New" since it was announced?
