It's a response to a letter they recieved asking if a DC or windows port would be possible, because he loves the arcade version.
It seems like it's the only platform being dicussed right now but their worried about completing the test run of the arcade version first, and the transition of D-Direct to Sega Direct, and the ever present issue of how a home port would impact the game's arcade performance.
So it looks like a big fat "maybe"
I hope they do bring out a DC port. If there's a WIN port only, I hope there is no territory lockout. Apparently, we've got quite a while to wait for it. I hope they don't plan to make it a Sega Direct only release.

It's good to see G.Rev are considering a DC port of the game. I think a GCN port might be more profitable for them worldwide, but I would prefer to see a DC port for a number of reasons. *Crosses fingers.*
