you could link your gameboys up and play tetris together. it was a grand old time!
Since when is Tetris, a multiplayer game? The first game was defineatly not a multiplayer game. Sure you could compete against a fellow gamer for high score, but that sort of thing, does not constitute it as a multiplayer title. The same with the first Star fox. It was a single player game, not multi.

Delta, even if any of your statements were valid, you must realize that you have been cruely branded with the Rod of Idiocy and therefore no one can agree with your statements out of principal alone.
While of course your posts in this thread are WRONG, keep this in mind for future threads because even if you manage to form a coherent thought, people will assume out of hand everything you say is garbage. Which going by the averages is a pretty safe bet.
my posts in this thread are RIGHT, not wrong. the games i listed as multiplayer are in fact multiplayer. if you don't believe me, go buy the games off ebay and get back with me.

I'm sure Alexi P, designed that game, with multiplayer in mind.![]()
Your list is only partially wrong in the sense that most of those games weren't bought for multiplayer mode, but your statement that multiplayer games do better than single is wronger than fubu on a whitey.

Gran Tourismo was designed around the premise of upgrading and purchasing cars. It offers two player arcade mode, but most people bought the game for it's single player experience.
I think its first published iteration was the arcade version, which was 2 player. The first home console version, Tengen's NES version, had a full blown vs. mode as well. As did the gameboy version.Originally posted by gamevet

But since the top selling game out of all of this is Grand Theft Auto 3, it's kind of a moot point.
