That's arguable since it all matters on tastes. Personally I felt like the Dreamcast is overrated on this message board, while I own a Sega Dreamcast, have 40+ Sega Dreamcast games, ran a Sega message board, and ran a sega website. I feel like my opinion carries some weight. Dreamcast had a lot of arcady type games, and didn't have a lot of games that had much longevity, unless you were obsessed with the game or simply trying to master the game to the fullest.

I never said the DC was bad, personally I like it, it's probably one of my favorite consoles of all time, but ... that won't be the same with everybody else, everybody has different tastes and such. Just like some of you just detest the XBOX, Gamecube, or Playstation 2 they have some who just might not like what the Sega Dreamcast has to offer, especially to those who might not purchase imports, who miss out on a lot of great games.

I never accused you of saying that the Dreamcast was bad. I just don't agree with your statement that, and I quote:

because it is NOT arguable, it is a fact. Like saying "stuffing is good." Fact. :-P

There were many titles available for the system which had very high production values, tight control, beautiful graphics, etc., etc. There were many GOOD GAMES available. Whether you like certain games or not is your problem; it doesn't diminish the quality of the available titles.

The only thing I apologize for is the next to last sentence in my previous post, which was more humorous than anything (from my POV), but could easily be seen as an attack on your person. I just liked the way it sounded, all bad ass and stuff.

I love it when people ignore every single other console that Nintendo has ever made, and focus singly on the N64's reputation:

"Nintendo only makes kid's games. I only play mature titles."

How were the NES and SNES kiddy?? Most of their franchises were continued on the PSX, which isn't considered a kiddie console. Whatever.

The amazing thing is that the Playstation probably has more kiddie games than the N64 by virtue of its larger library, but most people choose to overlook that because of its bigger "mature" library.
