Thread: Ura Zelda GC shots...

  1. ...looks like UltraHLE...

  2. That is most definitely emulation. I remember reading that an entire N64 emulation layer was written for the GC, so this is probably it.

So, no FPS enhancements. Yeah, it runs at a higher resolution, but it will run at the same framerate. Probably.

As for OoT's framerate... It was all over the place. I'd say that, if you had to average it, it'd be between 15 and 20 FPS.

  3. emulation can update fps and do many other things

just ask anyone whose played with Kawaks or any of the many other emulators out there

it all depends on what they write into the emulator
    Where I play

  4. Yeah, like I said, from the people who actually have the GC OOT/Ura and who have actually played it, it's been confirmed to be a solid 30 FPS. No crazy frame dipping that OOT N64 had; nothing.
bastard of the new world order.

  5. well we just have to hope that those people also didn't think the N64 OOT ran at 30fps ever. I'd agree in saying it ran at 20-24fps MAX. Pop in Mario64@30fps and then Zelda...at no point is Zelda 30fps. The new Cube version of OOT may seem like it's 30fps because of the increased resolution...which is why DC 30fps games (like Sonic Adventure 1) look smoother and more fluid than PSone 30fps games (like Ridge Racer Revolution).
