Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Well the sequel is almost here, And since I know that this thread is going to be posted by somebody, I think I should do it first.


So what do you think based on Previews and Books? I beleive that it's going to be the best movie out there when it hits theaters.

My friends and I have purchased tickets for 8 PM the day of release, and I'm much looking forward to it.

Haven't heard of any midnight screenings, though I'm sure their are many.

Damnit, I wanted to put this thread up, I'm the biggest fan of the movies here! Yes, I got tickets for the midnight showing, and the day after. The reviews should start coming in this week, some British mag had a review up allready but it was a fake. Next week the soundtrack will be out, then the week after the movie itself is out I'm going to read the Two Towers again starting tommorow.
Some things you can probably bet on allready-
Best cgi ever for Gollum. The main reason is because of his performance (its been rumored the academy is considering a new catagory for cgi performances...).
Intense as hell battles, this movie will be less fantasy driven and more gritty. Many reports have said the battle of Helm's Deep is 45 minutes, some more like 15 minutes. I'm thinking 15, 45 is just too much and would take up too much room for the story.

So that review was a fake eh? That's too bad.

I've heard pretty much everywhere that Helm's Deep is only fifteen minutes as well, and that's fine by me. I'd much rather see more of the story.
