Yes, they do. If you are going to school, you can get it relatively cheap, too.

still expensive tho..and once you buy it, its obsolete, cuz a new version is coming out within a couple of months.

Ehh, I still use version 5.5 at home. I use 6 and 7 at work, but 5.5 gets the job done. I know what you mean, though - for a while it seemed like there was a new version of Illustrator every other week.
