Sega Touring Car
Ridge Racer Type 4
Wipeout 3
Rock 'N Roll Racing! I would have forgotten that one.
Good call.
IMO many racing games seem to have had some pretty forgettable soundtracks (or maybe I'm concentrating so much on the racing that I don't notice the music). But I'll vote Out Run because of Magical Sound Shower. Makes me heppeh!

I'm a fan of Wipeout music. It's just not my first choice.
The only Wipeout I currently own is the first game but I love how I can play it in a CD player. Can I do this with the sequels or do they not use redbook audio?
Except for Fusion which I'm not sure about.
Wipeout and Wipeout XL (FSOL!!). TD: LeMans 24 Hours was cool too. MSR was appalling...it was like karaoke night at John Tesh's house.

My vote goes for Wipeout XL or Wipeout Fusion.

Oooh crap, I forgot about Wipeout XL. I bought the soundtrack to that just for the hell of it. Im pretty sure you could play it off the game CD though.
You can find the Initial D: Arcade Stage soundtrack here in their download section. Yes, it's all Eurobeat. Yes, it pretty much all sounds the same....but that dosen't mean that 'Heartbeat' from Version 1 and 'Killing My Love' from Version 2 are awesome songs XD!!!
Play Guitar Hero //
Rage Racer
I actually enjoyed some of the music in MSR, sure most of it was shit, but there were a couple of good songs in there. I can't believe I forgot about Wipeout XL.

I too agree with F-Zero and F-Zero X. Also Super Mario Kart if that counts.
Ridge Racer 2. I have the orginal import OST in my car at all times -- damn, it almost makes it fun to sit in L.A. traffic. Almost.
