Cubenation have confirmed that Square Enix are in the works with Parasite Eve rebirth for GC and PS2 for late 2003. You can read about it here.

Sounds great. I liked original Parasite Eve alot, and even thought that PE2 was pretty fun game. Really looking forward the new one

"Square Enix" still sounds strange to me.

Anywho, here's hoping that the new one turns out well. Didn't play the sequal but I found the original's cutscenes to be quite creepy.

I've liked both Parasite Eves, and it would be nice if my copy didn't freeze at the conversation before the last boss fight in Parasite Eve 2.
