Most underrated platformer of all time?

Underrated to the U.S. public would be all of those games and about 300 other great platformers and the Dreamcast.

From those on the list, I'd have to go with Ristar. That game rocks hard.

My heart is with Rocket Knight and Marvel Land (which I still cannot find a complete copy of anywhere!). I also enjoyed both Clockwork Knight games immeasurably. Salsa de Pepperouchau!

Might I suggest Burning Rangers? Yuji Naka's other great title, that soo many gamers missed out on. This should be on the list, because it is way under-rated in the gaming public's eye.

I wouldn't consider Burning Ranger a "traditional" platformer. It's more of an action/adventure/exploration-type game.

Glad to see someone else can see the beauty that is Super Tempo. How far did you get, bbobb?

I truly believe that Super Tempo is the best platformer knowbody's ever played (except for me and bbobb). Hunt it down and enjoy

I voted Dynamite Headdy. Haven't played Super Tempo sadly. Ristar's a close second though. Actually Ackman's more underrated than either, and Monster World is the most unerrated of all.

If noone talks about it, it's underrated. Okay. Mine's not on the list. It's Do Re Mi Fantasy. Nobody ever talks about that game and I think it's about as good as a platformer can be. The music is to die for.
