Thread: Hajime no Ippo : The Fighting

  1. I just beat the game. Date is a bitch. got to check out the credits. Good mix of new and old. Mostly Bangai-O staff, but the director is a newcomer who goes by PAT-RASH. New support artist too. Treasure has gained like 12 employees in 10 years, so it's kinda of intrest.

    Honestly, VB and HNI are really nothing alike. VB is 3D and the controls work though Ippo's direction independent of the camera (much in the same way RE's controls do), where there is no seperate dodge button and you instead tap a direction to dodge that way. It's much more difficult to get a hold of then HNI is, but is great on its own level. I'd say HNI is way more fun, though.

    The game sounds great. Interesting that some of the Bangai-o staff worked on this.

  5. I'm now hopelesslyaddicted to this game. It's myfavorite boxing game since Super Punch Out... AND it's nota rip off of Punch Out *glares menacingly at Boxing Fever and Punch Kings*

    Anyone know how to unlock that secret character?
