Just buy it, and if you don't like it, ebay it and get your money back.
I like the game a lot, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. But it's one of the cases in which there's constant demand for it so you can easily sell it off.
I was on Ebay and searched for Radiant Silvergun, one of many games I want but don't have. Anyway, I found a buy it now for $135, which if anything is less than it normally goes for. And it's been around for awhile since there's only 1 day left. So I'm thinking of doing it. Advice?

Am I missing the reason why no one has bought yet? Is it worth it? Will one of you get in and buy it before I have a chance to?![]()

Well, there's no reserve price on that auction, which may explain the lack of bids or buy-it-now takers. You could conceivably buy it for $1 right before closing time if there are no other bidders (fat chance now).
I paid in excess of $100 for my copy of RS on eBay and didn't regret it. It was a used game too... I find that almost all used copies games are scratched a bit, but luckily Sega Saturn is THE best console when it comes to reading scratched discs.
it is used... which means that the price isn't really that great
but, if you want the game that much, go ahead and buy it...
personally, I don't think the game is that good... I'd take Ikaruga or Mars Matrix over it
but a whole lot of people consider it the greatest shooter ever, so i'm probably the minority...
and as Kabuki said, you can buy it and sell it later for the same price (or possibly even more, if you're lucky)
My favorite game of all time.
Why would you put that link there?
If I was a prick...
$135 for just a shooter is ridiculous...just IMHO.....
Just a question: have you played RS before? If so, I guess you'll know whether you're willing to shell out that kind of dough for the game.
If not, you might want to at least try the game first (although I realize that you may not know anyone who has it). My point: it's a great game IMO, but I suspect that many people could find equal or even more enjoyment by spending $135+ elsewhere.
Personally (and I bought the game for $60 upon release), I wouldn't go chasing after it, despite the fact that I loved the game. It's a fun game, nothing more. Unless you *have* to own it, you can find some fun for a lot less than $135.
Sorry for such a long response, but your post reminded me of why I'm pretty much done with tracking down imports for crazy prices, especially when I can be equally entertained by games that can be readily obtained for a fraction of the cost.
Good luck.

Any price over $100 for a game that really ISN'T that hard to find is ridiculous. I could see paying over $100 for P.K.T., seeing as how there weren't that many copies pressed... but RS? Fuck no.
Still a good game...
