The string of bad Jet Li American movies look to continue. Looked like Romeo Must Die 2Is it me or did it look like DMX was a bigger character that Jet Li?
After Equlibrium, Cradle 2 the Grave is my next most anticipated film.
And the trailer has been released on the net. I just watched and it looks great. Some very cool fighting, stunts and ton of action.
Check it out: http://cradle2thegrave.warnerbros.com/cmp/trailer.html

WHat string? I liked all 3 Jets US films. Kiss of Dragon was great, and I enjoyed The One. Even Romeo Must Die was decent. Sure it had wire fu, but it wasnt as bad as the Master.
This one looks fun, and even if they show DMX as major character, it still worth to see just for Mark VS Jet fight.
That I will agree with. And on a unrelated note...Originally posted by Despair

I wrote an email to Jet Li's website back in the day when Kiss of the Dragon came out. I gave the site my thoughts and I got, almost a whole year later, an autographed pic of Jet Li himself. Its a prized possesion of mine![]()

i dont know some parts look cool
but they need to stop putting dmx and tom arnold in fucking movies...
Well Hollywood always likes to have the diversity element in its films...and they know DMX will help sell the film to a whole other market...I personally don't mind because I like DMX. And Tom Arnold is funny, so that's fine too.Originally posted by Strawberry Shortcake

Anyway, I think from the trailer, that this film looks awesome and I think it'a a good time to be an action fan. I think Hollywood directors are finally starting to learn how to fuse the action elements from HK with bigger budgets...
I also think Jet's U.S. films are fantastic (besides The One, which I promptly sold as soon as I watched it). But KOD is among my favorite of all of Jet Li's films, simply for its brutal fighting.

Again, I dont have anything against DMX, he was ok in Exit Wounds. Tom Arnold bits can be funny, and he is ok when they dont give him alot of screen time.
Watched the trailer again last night at home, with bigger version and sound. It looks great.
I love the part at the end of the trailer with Mark moving his hands in front of his face into fighting stance, and Jet getting ready. And fight in the Rain looks extremely cool![]()
Better, Quick time version of the trailer is here:

Exit Wounds was the best! Steven Seagal needs to make more movies that make fun of himself and involve him doing shoryukens. And DMX worked well as the pimpin' smoove criminal, too. I also thought that as kung fu movies go, Romeo Must Die was pretty good.Originally posted by Despair
