From PS2Vision: « Enix has announced development on a new PS2 RPG. Tentavly titled, Dragon Lagoon, the game is all about the battles between the people who live on the earth and those who live in the sky. »
Sounds like a nice concept. I like Enix, I like RPGs, I like dragons, and I like "living in the sky".
Wow, Frogacuda hasn't been here to decry Enix yet? Shit.
Relax, Frog
Anyways, for recent PS2 releases that they have distributed, there has been Torneko's Adventure 3 (which has sold a decent amount over there) and Endonesia, which can be found cheaply at damn near any import store near you.
I believe besides SO3 and DQ8 for upcoming, a VP sequel release was hinted at months ago, and Hori did say that he wanted to do an online game of some sort... if I'm not mistaken didn't he do some PC game that Enix handles? Here's two of 'em, and I think it might have been
Depth Fantasia
And then there's this thing called Crossgate:
Well anyways, I think Enix distributes a good amount of RPG material currently.
Soul Blazer/Iluusion of Gaia/Terranigma were developed by Quintet (where are these guys now?).
Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean 2 (not sure about 1) were done by Tri-Ace.
Were the early DQs (1-6) all done in-house? Cuz I knows 7 was done by Heartbeats and now 8 by Level 5.
