Rayman 3 to have Hollywood voice actors

1, I don't ever like "celebrity" ego voices in games. It's pointless and it totally ruins it for me... and this would be especially true for a game with so much atmosphere as Rayman.

2, I love the Raymanese and it will be sad not having it. I thought that it added a lot of character and charm to the game.

So - no matter how well done it is.. it's just not my bag.. and I love Rayman so it bums me out.

Yes, he was. But then when Nickelodeon continued to produce Ren and Stimpy after firing John K., he stayed on. (and even had the nerve to voice Ren, horribly bastardizing the character) If he'd left they'd never have been able to keep the show going. Plus that Cheerios bee sucks.

I hate when video game characters speak in gibberish, they only do this so they can cut back on localization costs.

Leguizamo is an EXCELLENT voice over actor. Just watch Ice Age. His voice over adds so much extra humor to an already enjoyable CG flick.

Thats sad. Still, I've seen some of the stuff John K did for Cartoon Network, and I thought I heard Billy's voice though I could be wrong...

I can see where sggg is coming from I guess, I don't particularly like celebrity voice actors if:

1) They don't change their voices much, destroying the illusion, or
2) They're cast because of their celebrity status

Looks like this is a case of the latter, but as The Crow mentioned, Leguizamo is a pretty talented guy. I'll take a wait and see, I did enjoy Rayman 1 and 2 and will probably pick up 3 as well.

I'd rather have celebrity voices than the horrible voice actors found in most games. John Leguizamo beats the game studio's janitor any day, in my books.
