I really can't believe 007 is outselling Prime. I mean shit, I'm sure 007 is good and all, but Prime is getting huge scores and hype all over the place. I guess the Bond licence really does bring in the mainstream. At the very least, we can take solace knowing DBZ isn't beating out Prime, though. Didn't expect Splinter Cell to do so well either, it overtook Prime last week, and MK this week. GTA is predictably #1 again, and that should last for quite some time, despite blowing such huge loads for the past two months.. A winner is it.

Bond is doing better b/c the name is more well-known in the world of amatuer gamers then Metroid. I would be willing to bet that many people are not familiar with the Metroid era.

Splinter Cell outselling Metroid Prime, eh? I made that prediction a little while ago. Let's see if it keeps up.

I dunno about Metroid Prime since I haven't played it, but Splinter Cell deserves to sell as well as it is, since it rocks the par-tay.

It's not too hard to believe the success of the new Bond game. It's on multiple systems (combined sales) not to mention a new Bond movie just came out so people may be itching for more.
