Thread: Diablo II: Lord of Destruction - Set Team

  1. id love to play but im back on the lowly dial up and wouldnt want to bog down anyones connection.

  2. One of us broadband fellows will be hosting, it shouldn't slow us up too bad. I'd like to get a cool stacking paladin team going. Let me know if you're interested.

    Usually ships within 24 hours
    $29.90
How is that store, did you order from them before?

  4. I have not, but when I showed the URL to my friend, he ordered it with overnight shipping. That was late yesterday, so he'll either have it today or tomorrow. I'll let you know.

  5. Will you guys be using existing characters? Or starting over from the ground up?

I might be interested in playing. I have a level 60-ish Necro who focuses a lot in the various Curses, Bone Spirit, Corpse Explosion, and dabbles a bit in Summons.

I also have a Paladin, Amazon, and Assassin that I've been working up as of late. I recently got my girlfriend into playing it somewhat as well. She plays an Amazon.

Let me know the details (time, days, plans, etc). Thank you.

  6. We were planning on starting a team that runs only with each other, so everybody grows evenly and nobody is just following or slowing the group down. If we got enough people, my friend and I were hoping to do an all-paladin team, so we could stack a ton of different auras. We've got it all planned out, we just need people to be interested in taking certain parts. Of course, we could also do a much less rigorous approach, but I guess we're mostly after people who've played the game to death, and want to try a fresh approach.

  7. you have SOJ? ^_^ !!!

Actually, we had started a 4p set team with a Paladin, my Sorceress, a Barbarian, and a Necromancer. Then the Barb and Necro stopped showing up, so my friend with his Paladin, and I with my Sorceress, just pressed on as a 2p team, and ended up having to accept the fact that those 2 will be kind of like screw-around characters. So if you want to play and you have some local chars to run, let me know, and we can set up a time. Right now, our chars are both around L37 or so. Our only real rule is "no training."

Stone of Jordan? No, I wish. I'd love to have 2 of them for my Necro. I already have the Frostburn gloves, and those really help in the Mana department (+40% Mana). But spamming Bone Spirits, Amplify Damage, and Corpse Explosions really drains your Mana. 2 Stones of Jordan would be a godsend. The +1 to all Skills for each ring would be icing on the cake.

Hmm...an all Paly group? No offense, but wouldn't that get kind of boring without any diversity?

I played in a team once that had my Zookeeper Necro and 2 other Paladins, and we all had the Mercs from Act 2. It was fun to have my Skeletons, Golum, Mages, and Revives running around with all these Auras on them. That strategy acctually got us pretty far (midway through Hell difficulty). The 50% Physical res got too much for us, though. It would have been nice to have a Sorceress and/or Druid with us.

But anyways. I might be willing to do the all Paladin group. It all depends on whether or not I get addicted to UO after I buy it like my girlfriend currently is.
