I actually found some of my favorite things in Very Hard Caves, in original PSO. I didn't think much of v2, but Episode I & II is pretty interesting so far. The balance changes are nice.

So, nobody wants to play any DIIX, I guess.

Doing Mephisto runs on Nightmare and Hell difficulty yields almost as good results, with much less effort required.

I've found a bunch of good rares/set items/uniques using this method.

Stone of Jordan? No, I wish. I'd love to have 2 of them for my Necro. I already have the Frostburn gloves, and those really help in the Mana department (+40% Mana). But spamming Bone Spirits, Amplify Damage, and Corpse Explosions really drains your Mana. 2 Stones of Jordan would be a godsend. The +1 to all Skills for each ring would be icing on the cake.

Yea I was just joking around. Since the currency in that game (when I played) was always measured in SOJ. I had about 20 of them myself. I remember in the original Diablo II I found the Silks of Victor which was worth 2 SOJ at the time, think that was the most rare unique I ever found.

Once the Expansion came out I bought it quickly, but wasn't very impressed. I soon quit playing once the duping and cheating started to come up.. The whole economy was broken too. It was so much fun in the original Diablo II days.

The expansion rules! Crafting and runewords alone make it 10x more compelling than standard DII. Not to mention the improved resolution.

My bro just ordered the exp, I might just join you guys as a cookie cutter barb or pally. I've always wanted to do an all pally team.

Back in the days I had an account with tons of good stuff like storms, gazes, sojs, trang set, shafts, shakos and this cool looking pally with sabre/star, g angel, herald, veil of steel...

Hopefully it's not deleted yet but that was several months ago so the chances are slim.

We're not playing on b.net, we're doing local chars in IP games. We're also running our Set Team chars only with each other, so everyone grows at the same rate. If you get set up soon, let me know, and we can discuss the all-pally team in more detail. If we have at least 3 players, it should be reasonably sound.

Well, like I said, my friend and I have relatively new local chars that are only about L39-40 right now. If we played them with your L80~ chars, nobody would get anywhere, xp-wise. You don't have anything lower? It doesn't take too long to get to L40...
