Yup, that's who I was talking about. That was one Grade-A, A+ rack.Originally Posted by Mr-K

Yeah, all the cut footage is on the extras disc, and sadly not inserted back into the movies.Originally Posted by BerringerX
The video quality of the uncut Part 7 footage is pretty bad, but Kane Hodder and John Carl Buechler's running commentary kinda makes up for it. Buechler seemed really bitter that all his make-up and gore effects were cut from the final movie. Can't say I blame him.

An article in Variety(or from the site... Not too sure):
Take particular note of the last few sentences...
Confirmation of this news can be found on both Fangoria.com and Bloody-disgusting.com.Horror pics score a couple of hot dates
A decade ago, Fox aggressively staked out a July 4 holiday bow for its summer tentpole "Independence Day" with a memorable promo during the NFL's big game. The tagline: "Enjoy the Super Bowl. It May Be Your Last."
It practically etched the July 4 date in moviegoers' minds.
So it's no surprise that Fox is revisiting the date-marking strategy for "The Omen 666."
The studio has staked out June 6, 2006, for its domestic and international launch -- even though it's a Tuesday -- to take advantage of the "666" resonance.
"Omen 666," a contemporized remake of the 1976 chiller, stars Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles as a couple bedeviled by their son -- who also happens to be the Antichrist -- assisted by a scheming nanny portrayed by Mia Farrow.
Fox isn't the only studio playing dating games.
New Line is hoping to release its 10th film in the sturdy "Friday the 13th" franchise on -- surprise -- Friday, Oct. 13. Studio's launched development of a script about Jason Voorhees' origins.
Also, word has it that the "origins of Jason" thing is not entirely true. A source close to the production said:
Not exactly F vs. J 2, but this could have potential. I shall keep my ear to the ground!make it clear that the "origin story" they are talking about isn't really accurate. you are getting a classic jason story. the idea is to return to the classic Jason of 2, 3 and 4.

Is that this year or next? 7 months isn't a whole lot of time.
7 months is plenty of time to shoot and release a low-budget horror movie.

Met Betsy Palmer (Mrs. Voorhees) and Ari Lehman (Part 1 Jason) over the weekend at a convention here. I will post pics later.
Also, no new news about the new flick. Should be hearing something soon though.
The print version of Variety altered the story to say it was the 12th film in the series. Guess they realised their mistake.
