I just picked up a really nice Canon scanner that was on sale for $69.99. Really thin, compact, fast and quiet. Max resolution is 1200dpi, but I don't think I've ever scanned anything above 300dpi so who cares.

I olny do it to spare you guys from seeing my ugly mug. You don't deserve that.

I met Bruce Campbell at a book signing in Worcester, MA.

Worcester sucks. Bruce came to Northeastern to speak last winter, and when he opened the floor to questions. I challenged him to armwrestle. He told me to stand up so he could take a look at me... and then declined. He's a pussy.

*EDIT* The Arnold figure is pretty cool, but the body is a tad on the skinny side (despite using the new "big boy" body), and the facial likeness is a tad odd:

The top of his head is too big, and the jaw is too small. Still, I'll wait to see what the final toy is like. I'll almost certainly pick it up.

BTW, Sideshow is also selling a LIFE-SIZE T-800 replica(!) for $6000. That's insane.

They have a nice Venom figure for pre-order too.

That Venom figure is pretty cool, but for once I wish they could make a good looking Venom figure without a crazy head. Just a decent figure of Mark Bagley-style Venom without teeth flying all over the place and shit. The worst offender is the Spiderman Classic Venom, with the suit half off. Horrible figure.
