I'm just having a little chuckle reading this thread because you don't know how long I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for this movie to finally get freaking made and released. I told an old friend of mine back in the late 80's that a Freddy vs. Jason movie was going to come out someday, I still remember that day in my mind right now as I type this and he never believed me. If I ever see him and the movie is about to come out, I'll remind him of that day.
