It varies from genre to genre but generally speaking I do, and I prefer games that lend themselves to scoreplay, as well. I'm still very rooted in arcade gaming when it comes to my gaming habits.

I answered no, but "rarely" is more accurate. I'll go for score in a game like Strikers 45 II because I play it at the arcade on an almost daily basis, but that's the only game in recent memory I've done it on. Most games I play for pure distance rather than any form of scoring.
Admitted, I usually end up going for fancy maneuvers that rack up the score, but that's more of a "points for style" thing than a serious attempt at fleecing more points out of a set area of a game. Yay if I do it, oh well if I don't.
