Thread: Russian Roulette

  1. Russian Roulette

If you get Game Show Network, there's a game show called Russian Roulette that's worth checking out.

At first glance it may look somewhat like The Weakest Link, but here's the catch: Players challenge each other to answer questions. Answer your question wrong and all your money goes to your challenger. You are then left to play Russian Roulette.

If you have to play RR, you pull a lever that triggers a sequence of lights circling around the floor. If one of the lights stops underneath you- you're going down (literally). There's a loud "POOF!" and the floor opens up underneath you. You drop fast (the camera faces the contestant). If your cell of the stage is not lit when the lights stop, you keep playing. If you've got the most cash at the end of a round, you go to center stage to take a spin that will randomly drop one of your opponents.

The last player standing goes to a bonus round where they've got a minute to get 10 questions right. Giving a wrong answer or running out of time causes them to drop. If they finish, they have $10,000 more and can risk it for a final spin of Russian Roulette which is worth $100,000 if they survive it.

It comes on at 4:30 PM & 8:00 PM Eastern (as well as 10PM ET weekdays).

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  2. It's been around for about six months now... Solid, fun game show. Not as good as Lingo though.
