I wonder if folks could just subscribe through Kinnokuniya booksores. They'll ship it anywhere. I believe that Master has Famitsu XBOX or Arcadia or something that he ordered at the Kinnokuniya in Seattle going to his house on the East coast. Then again the whole thing is totally spendy if you want to read it in the current time frame...

Just saw ya there Melf! Man that DDP PSX is a tall order. I have never seen any other than the one that was mine. Even that was really an accident. If I was actually to go to Japan I'd be on the case like Sherlock. As it is I can't seem to source it after trying for a year and a half at least.

Hmm.. Forgot about that. Jdcr.com is fine for now, methinks.... $11 a month isn't too bad and I don't mind the wait [I go for the 2-3 week shipping, too.]

I've been to over 20 games shops around Tokyo and have not seen a single copy. Most of the gamers i've talked to say that they are lucky to come across one copy of that game a month. I am determined to find one for myself before I leave though.

Nope. The awesome artwork, screenshots, the layout... it all makes up for not being able to actually read it.

I think I've seen a PS ver. of DDP at www.wolfgames.com a few times. Or maybe VGD... But I know I have seen it. Hmmm.

I can decipher minimal Hiragana and Katakana. I do mean minimal when I say that too. I've used my limited skills to learn almost nothing beyond what the pictures show but these magazines (Arcadia, Famitsu) keep me motivated to at least remember the kana I do know.

Melf, DDP for SS is $60 and I do happen to have a minty fresh one. Unfortunately it's the Saturn Best collection rerelease. It seems that nobody loves a rerelease because I've had this thing since I was still thinking about having a shop and stockpiling goods almost two years ago.

Pa, the Donpachi you sold me for PSX was a rerelease, right? I like it. If the Saturn version's the same there's no problem.
