Thread: How do you like this?

  1. How do you like this?

    o_O

  2. yeah - its hard to describe those people - they think that they are doing a civic duty for the rest of the public by doing something like that - they fail to realize that most of the public has a little bit of common sense and can forgive the unintentional "two towers" similarities to real life (and that most ppl don't care because its not worth caring over) - i mean... the books were written so long ago - ... yep old man tolkien - filled with "hate speech"

  3. These are just like the people who would rather swallow a live grenade than drop their nation's flag on the floor. The priorities are all mucked up.

Since I am literate, the name "Two Towers" made me think of . . . oh, a super-famous book, but even if it made half the population flash back to September 11, is that a bad thing? This movie was not named to capitalize on 9/11. Go after the dozens of calendars that are "commmorating" the World Trade Center. Those were made to remind people of the events of that day while simultaneously pushing product. This movie would have had that title whether or not the attacks took place.

Aren't we supposed to remember anyway? Or are we supposed to blow the life out of some people then go back to the same complacency and buck-passing that facilitated the attacks in the first place?

  4. The world is full of stupid people. These are some of them. Pathetic.

  5. Yeah, I couldn't keep my mind off of 9/11 the whole movie! I'M SHOCKED AND APPALED!

    *shakes head* tards...

  6. The creators of the movie have free speech, so what makes you think they should have to change the name of the movie?

We believe that Peter Jackson and New Line Cinema's actions are in fact hate speech. The movie is intentionally being named The Two Towers in order to capitalize on the tragedy of September 11. Clearly, you cannot deny the fact that this falls under hate speech. We believe that if they will not willingly change the name, the government should step in to stop the movie's production or to force a name change.
WWW . WHATTHEFUCK .COM?! (to quote Denis Leary). I love how they go on to say that several of their members are Tolkien fans. Gee, amazing how they kinda forgot that the 2nd part of the trilogy was named "The Two Towers" eh? I sincerely hope this is a parody site. Otherwise, Darwin was wrong.

  7. People are idiots, nuff said.
"Punch the yeti! Win a free Llama!"

  8. I'd seriously love to place everyone that signs that petition in a tower, then fly a pla... nevermind.

  9. The book (which the movie they're bitching about was based on) was made BEFORE the towers... Morons.

  10. Hey, I was greatly offended when I saw all those movie ads for Lord of the Rings: The Twin Towers. Oh, wait...
