The first batch of 10 is out, but I have no idea which movies to get. I've heard that Come Drink With Me, Killer Clans, and The Kingdom & The Beauty are all good.

Is Touch of Zen (also by King Hu who did Come Drink with Me) a Shaw Brothers film? Anyway, Taiseng just released the DVD and I recommend it...

Also, I believe all the Shaw rereleases are region coded for Asia. Atleast that's what I've seen on some Web sites--so you may need an all-code player. I plan to pick up Come Drink with Me and a few others once I have the chance. I believe all of the early Shaw releases are good, so you are probably okay to buy whichever ones interest you...There's even an early Chow Yun Fat in the first batch...
