You're right, Sega is third party so they shouldn't limit themselves to one console. They should release all their games simultaneously on all three consoles.

Not unless they have three different groups developing each version to take advantage of each console strengths and finding ways around the weaknesses. Otherwise, hell no.

What we need is a new Sega-designed console which some other company can manufactor and market. Then the games should all come out on it.

Well.. it's pretty far-fetched.. but supposedly Sega R&D is still developing hardware and every now.. and then you here rumblings so you never know... Still it's doubtful but it can't hurt to dream.

A new SEGA system would be a dream come true. My favorite systems are always the ones with stellar 1st/2nd party support. And I don't think its any coincidence that SEGA's quality has gone down since going 3rd party

Sega have been awesome as a 3rd party. Shinobi, Super Monkey Ball and Panzer Dragoon Orta alone prove to me that Sega's quality has remained consistently high.

Remember, Sega's still relatively new to the third-party game. They haven't found their groove yet. I think that the quality of their software is a bit lower now, but that could just be because they're still unfamiliar with the hardware that they're working on.
