New EGM Scores!

It got a silver over in Japan, and I hear nothing but good things about it..(the first chapter anyway) Who cares about EGM.

That's what I looked for, although I had been hoping for higher scores. Those Kakuto Chojin scores are damned harsh, I doubt I'd even be considering the game if not for Mr. Whitefolks.

Yeh, I have heard almost entirely good things as well... I just hope nothing got screwed up on the way over...

But you're right.. one EGM score should not be reason to get too concerned.

Panzer Dragoon Orta: 9.0, 8.5, 9.0 (SILVER)

What a joke. Kakuto Chojin is not that bad at all, hardly a VF4 contender but it is by no means complete shit. PDO deserves better also.

OMG WTF?!? I only played the demo and it was fantastic, I wonder what the hell affected it so much for the other 2 reviewers to give it a lower score.

Dragonball Z Budokai: 8.0, 7.5, 7.0

I thought this one was going to get a serious reaming by them but this is a bit surprising.

Minority Report: 6.5, 5.5, 6.0

I rented the GC version, entirely deserving although I'd give it a few more notches.

Skies of Arcadia Legends: 9.0, 9.5, 9.0 (GAME OF THE MONTH, GOLD)

Now THIS is nice to see, although I still think they should have done a cover story to it with last time's botched attempt, maybe Nintendo Power will do a cover spread the word on this pure sweet game. I think this will do well as the first big name RPG.

Better than 9, 8.5, 9? I'll grant you I have not played the full vewrsion of PDO yet, but to me very few games deserve 9s. I hope Orta is one of them, but to say that 9, 8.5, 9 is too low is odd.

Play it then and see for yourself. From a purely objective point of view, Panzer Dragoon Orta and Metroid Prime are easily the best games this year. Highly polished in every category with no flaws to speak of.
