    Home Alone 1+2

I loved Home Alone 1+2, I saw them back in Jr High School and they are great to this day.

I kinda of prefer part 2 as the whole Hotel bit was hilarious.

Home Alone 3 I didn't even bother with as Mac wasn't even in it...

Any fans? or at least did you like them when you were younger?

  2. I thought both were very funny and entertaining. I didn't like Home Alone 3 though.

How could you have not liked Home Alone when you were younger? I haven't watched them in quite some time, but I would wager I would still find them quite enjoyable even now.

Some of his contraptions kick some major ass. I especially love when the stupid bad guy gets an iron dropped on his head.

  5. I liked the first Home Alone more than the second one. I can't quite remember why, though. Maybe it was because the whole concept got a bit stale by the time the second one came along.

  6. Home Alone 1 and 2 are CLASSICS, Home Alone 2 is shown like every other day on the movie channels lately so I have seen alot if it recently, and it's making me want to see Home Alone one again just to remember what the hell happened in it. I remember when Home Alone 2 came out in theatres I went to see it at the mall and the theatre was completely packed, so much so that the line was to the doors of the mall

  7. The first two Home Alones are fantastic. The third one is just using the name as a cash-in. The charm of the first two can never be duplicated again, sadly.

  8. I will admit that Home Alone is a great funny slapstick comedy. But looking back at it.. Man was the plot horriable, and unrelastic. With corny holiday scenes. Who knows if this will hold up the test of time..

  9. Loved the original (I try to watch it every Christmas season), and the second was pretty good too.

Never saw the third one. There is a Home Alone 4 made-for-TV movie either out now or coming out soon. Not gonna watch that one either.

    EDIT: Here it is! http://abc.abcnews.go.com/movies/homealone4.html

  10. I thought Home Alone 1 and 2 were awesome... when I was a kid, those traps were such a thrill... like kinetic sculptures gone wrong.

Incidentally I think the movie got a terrible rap in Hong Kong because the film censorship board thought it taught children to misbehave and were scared they'd hurt someone imitating the movie.

I think they slapped a ridiculous rating on it and pretty much killed the film.
