kanuki, you should make your posts per day as high as Jeremy, so I get to see the chick in your sig more often.

Anyways, once again, I'm the first to tell you that if you are even remotely interesting in flight sims, Ace Combat 4 is a must, and a steal at 20 bucks.

  3. Rez is a must, you'll either find Silent Hill 2 to be atmospheric visual/aural art at its finest or terribly dull (I lean towards the former)and Onimusha's cheap, quick fun.

And seeing as how you're a musician, you might get some enjoyment out of MTV Music Generator 2. It's not proffesional grade, but it's the cheapest copy of Cubase you'll ever find, has that Gorillaz video in it, and has suprisingly little to do with MTV aside from an annoying commercial for the game you already bought at the beginning with Funkmaster Flex.

But if you're looking for a lesser known title and/or plan on continuing to call yourself a man, Dynasty Tactics. Seriously, it's the 2002 PS2 release that I've gotten the most enjoyment out of.

Kyo, your constant mentioning of Dynasty Tactics is finally making me intrigued about this game... I do like tactics/strategy games but I don't know much about DT... I think I am going to look into it.

  6. Penny Arcade included Dynasty Tactics into their Top 10 of the year and said it's a great game that most people just don't get. If I didn't read TNL I would never have even heard of it, since magazines or other sites haven't really talked about it. No wonder it isn't selling well I like to support Koei because they make some of the most innovative games.

  7. Yanya Cabilista City Skater - just don't use the fingerboard.
    Gradius 3&4
    Fantavision

You should be able to get 'em all for under $10 and they're well worth it.

  8. - Stuntman: Just like Masters and Sleeveboy said, it's a great game. One of my favorites of the year.

    - Fantavision: Very fun, very addicting, but most important of all, very cheap.

    - Aggressive Inline: Incredibly fun game that takes the genre in new directions.

    - Thps 4: One step closer to prefection. A must own.

    - Spy Hunter: One of the best remakes ever.

    - Mark of Kri: Very fun beat em up.

    - Fatal Frame: Scariest game ever made.

Beat me to it. It's really a great game and has some arcade flavor to it. The anime style storyline is pretty cool also.

Defineatly pick up REZ. It's not a very long game, but what's there is magical. Pick it up sooner, than later, because this game will be on every collector's list in the coming years.
