i think the xbox has better lighting/effects (like usual) but as far as length of quest i think its pretty much the same either way.
just know the game is VERY short....you may beat it the day you get it.
Anyone know if there are any differences between the XBOX version and the PS2 version of Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance. I was going to pick it up for the PS2 for 19.99 NEW at Toys R Us , then I saw the Xbox version. So I was not sure which to buy
Thanks
Dustin

Does this game fall into the category of Gauntlet Dark Legacy for PS2? And if it does, is Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance a two player game?
DA is only 1 player. it is like Gauntlet in that you press the button to attack, view etc. but its otherwise a lot more like Diablo.
Having only played the version on DC, I can say that Dark Alliance is better, as the level design seems to have a little more purpose. Overall, it's a competent, but not stellar, game. It took me about 10 hours to beat on normal, so it's more of a rental than a keeper to me.
There is a 2 player component in DA, but it only makes the enemies tougher (as opposed to more of them).
I AM DISRESPECTFULL TO DIRT!
CAN YOU SEE THAT I'M SERIOUS?
... uh... Dark Alliance has 2 player co-opOriginally posted by Dragonmaster Dyne

The PC version is the only one that matters.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.
co-op was a lot of fun. go with the PS2 version, the graphics are still really good
