When I was at EB today, I finally saw the magazine that everyone was curious about....GMR.
Simon Cox is the EIC. If I'm not mistaken, didn't he also work for the ODC magazine as well? Other writers/designers are James Mielke, Tom Price, Gerry Serrano, David Chen, Andrew Pfister and Caroline King.
The mag is laid out pretty well. They have reviews on a 1-10 scale, News section called Front, Top 10 lists sponsored by EB for each system, a retroactive section where they review older games, not to mention codes and tricks, as well as a listing of the Top 25/50 games for each system. Like I said, not bad.
They also have a story on the Top 50 games of 2003. However, I won't leave you in suspense....Halo 2 was their #1 pick.

Whoa...David Chen?!? It wasn't too long ago when he was one of my contacts. He used to work for Konami PR. I remember him telling me that he used to write; and now he's back in the foreground (so to speak). Hm, I am going to have to check his stuff out. ^_^
