    Now, I've a couple of ways to rationalize this:

    After shipping [$20.80 SAL (Sea-Air Link) from Japan], the total will come to $395.80. That, divided by eight games, brings each to just under $50 apiece (about $49.50). This logic would make Radiant Silvergun a steal, but I'd have been overcharged a bit for some of the other games.

    ...or, I can say that I paid around $150 for RS (the average price - on the low side - that I've seen it go for on eBay in this condition), leaving only $245.80 to be divided by seven games. Using this logic, that would mean that the remainder of the games only cost me around $35 apiece.

    Either way, that's a hefty sum, and will be the most that I've ever paid for anything gaming-related at one time. Hopefully some of these games are as great as they're made out to be.

    One thing's for sure, I'll be (literally) dusting off the Saturn in the not-too-distant future and, finally, putting that Action Replay to use.

    You've rationalized this purchase several times over, if you would count the hassle of obtaining these games individually. Sure you think may have been overcharged a bit, but think about what you might have paid overall if you'd have purchased each these games seperately, and the cost of paying for shipping on each one of them? Think about it. You did a good job

  2. Game wise, excellent catch Price wise, might be a little steep, but you might not even care, and just enjoy the games

    About a year ago, I picked most of the games on your list from Ebay, and if you combine the prices I paid for the games on separate auctions, it would be close to what you will pay.

  4. Pricing each game separately, it seems like you came in right on the money - I think you would've paid about as much acquiring each game separately.

    The one problem with buying Saturn games in large lots (well, besides the expense) is that it gets hard to choose which game you're going to play. After you've completed a couple of the games, the rest tend to lose their luster, their newness, a bit. I bought about 35 Saturn games all at once a few years ago, same issue. So, to keep that from happening, you're going to have to play these games day and night, in and out, so as to not accumulate Saturn shooters on your pile of shame - it's your responsibility.

  6. Rest easy -- that was a solid score. The price was fair enough, and as you observed in your thread title, you grabbed a whole lot of high-quality gaming in one shot. If you never bought another shooter (much less a Saturn shooter), you'd still have a nice little collection right there.

    Better start excercising those thumbs...

  9. What a haul. Sengoku Blade isn't that common and I've heard of it going alone for 75 UKP ($120) one time. That being said... you are so lucky.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
