Thread: chrono break will be on the...?

  1. I can't see it coming to Xbox, unless MS gets wise and pays a ton of money to get an exclusive title, that could sell the system in Japan.

Chrono Cross sold pretty well on the PSX and Final Fantasy X on PS2 also showed that the PS2 market enjoys games made by Square. Granted, there are games coming from the Square spin-off, for the Nintendo made gaming units, but is a title like Chrono Break a likely title? If I were a betting man, I'd say the odds are in favor of the PS2.

  2. I assume it would be on the PS2, Square is practically married to the PS2 as it is, plus they would want to reach the same audience that bought Chrono Cross, which means they would have to release it on PS2.

BTW anyone hear anything about gameplay? I was upset at the battle system in Cross and hope they change it up to match Triger more closely, that and fewer characters would be nice.

Thanks for the support guys. I ask one simple question about a game and some idiot replies back with a pointless comment. Then for some odd reason most of you ingrates take his side just because I took the liberty of replying back. I wasn't aware of this "fight club" nor am I interested in it. So for the people that rejected my comment: you're no different then 88mph. With all that said, read the following and replace "88mph" with your names instead. Have a nice day.

Thanks for the info 88mph. Judging by the neanderthal of a reply you just gave on updates, it's pretty clear that either your girlfriend must've broken up with you because she recently found out she was a lesbian, or it could be that in person you look far worse than that ridiculous image you have up that represents your ill-looking appearance. "Yeah, you're a dipshit." Man that was some original piece of work. Who taught you how to say that, your child abusing father? Did he ever call you a "dipshit" after he gave you five across the eyes? Grow up. This section is for "Game Discussion." If you want to vent about how you can't come up with post-worthy topics, then go do yourself a favor and shoot yourself because the world doesn't need people like you. I'll even predict what you plan to do after you read this reply:

    1. Sit back in amazement because you just got slapped around on a message board. How much of a loser can you already be? Geez.

    2. Try to come up with one liner replies such as: "Fuck you man / Screw you, you suck! / I'll kick your ass you fuck"

    3. Your fingers start to shake because you're still in shock of how much of an idiot someone made you look on a message board for god's sake. So you jerk off for about 5 seconds because that's all it takes for you to unload and calm down.

    4. Then you post your shit up and realize "damn that wasn't good enough." And you regret the fact that you posted that shitty reply up and just walk away.

Think twice before you post shit up like that again.

Calling me a newbie in a videogame related forum must make you a verteran. Wow, if only I could be as cool as you. Geez, get a life.

    I'M A PRO, NOT A VETERAN!!

88 is our current troll, we just want some comedy, continue with the flaming.

  5. I'm supporting the thread, but comments like those, don't justify your cause either. Two wrongs, don't make a right.

  6. Ooooo, he told you, 88.

Seriously, whatever your name is (guy hating on 88), nobody is going to take your side, because 88 is much funnier and more clever than you are. Being funny and clever is good, writing long essays depicting the philosophical rights and wrongs of internet forum policy, is not good. Funny and clever = yes. Long stupid essay = no.

I hope you understand that when I had typed "LOL!" previously, I was laughing at you, not with you.

Please re-read the quote I had directed towards you in my first post, because everyone on this forum is laughing at you right now, and it's only fair that you know why we are.

  9. Another one bites the dust...

The rate at which noobs seem to get scared off here is amazing. We're just too hardcore!!
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

  10. It's about the game, not the system.

If it's a great game, put it on the system that suits it the greatest...... control, development, technicality, etc. wise.

Chrono Cross was a great RPG. I remember playing it all summer long to try and obtain all the different party members you could get, only to find out that you could only get some people through certain means.

Karsh and Zoah kicked so much ass.

I don't think it was a sequel to Trigger so much as it was just kind of a side story or something. In the sequel they'd have to have Chrono come back. I know it's not the typical Square route, but Chrono is a time traveller with access to the sands of time, meaning he will never age there.

So it wouldn't make sense (unless it's a different timeline, dimension, etc. which may be cheesy) because he could travel to the destination through time. Even if only him and one or two other character came back playable, or just Chrono, it would be so cool, to me atleast.

I have fond memories of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 3.... make me giddy, y'know? I remember ditching Killer Instinct to go and play this game, and only me and my buddy Evan wanted to play it at the time, and we had NO expectations and were just blown away. Good times.
