1. you could have it on. my filter simply moves all the spam into a "bulk" folder. doesn't delete it.

2. i removed my blocked list. if you feel that it is too much of a hassle to put the addresses back on later, then leave it on.

i made a separate account for actual mailing, and it rarely gets any spam

I maxed out my Hotmail's block adress list, at 300. But I still get at least 10 emails a day telling me how to get out of debt, lose weight, stop smoking and emails telling me that there are, in fact, naked pictures of women on the internet.
