Does anyone know if they made a 6 button pad for the 3DO

if it has 6 buttons on the face it sure is

the current button lay out is beyond horrible for a fighting game

I bought a few Performance 6-button 3D0 controllers from EB awhile ago for like $0.50 each. I don't think I even had a 3D0 at the time. I'd just poke around at places that have messy clearance bins, like EB and TRU, see if you can find a few for $1 or so each.

NO NO NO.

Yeah, I thought the same thing myself. Then I spent nearly $30 importing one from Japan a few years back. Big mistake. That pad is a pustule on the collective ass of every game controller ever made. Alright, that makes absolutely no sense.

1. The d-pad sucks.

2. The buttons have sharp rigid edges that bite into your fingers every time they are depressed.

3. The mere design of the pad in itself is inherently flawed - I wish I had a pic to demonstrate this ultimate shortcoming - you have to hold a damned grip to use the pad. A grip, like a motorcycle handle? WRONG WRONG WRONG. This pad makes even Satan cry.

Capcom made a 3DO Street fighter pad (also available for SNES/Genesis, i believe). Works like a charm, I have one

i wish i could say mine works like a charm...i have one of the genny one...went to crap on me after about 4 months of usage...this it the only controller fatality i have ever had...

Lordy, the Capcom 3DO pad is the controller I am talking about in my posts. Am I truly that incomprehensible or are your powers of cognition lacking anytime before noon?
