Yes, good one. But they way they ended up so tightly was somewhat dissapointing. Hope Palmer still lives.
Holy shit! good last episode.

I guess the plane chick is back.
You know Mandy, the one that fucked the photographer, blew up the 747, jumped out and then had her lesbian lover killed by Gaines.
Was cool to see Jack break that dude's neck. Just goes to show you, Jack Bauer with impending and recurring cardiac arrest > You and everyone else.
He seriously needs to renamed to Jack "I kill more people than AIDS" Bauer.
Matt, Jack kicked MAJOR ASS !!!His bodycount this day was about 30 guys !!!!
But what they trying to accomplish with killing Palmer? Its not going to start the war? Its just him out of the office, but since everyone else in cabinet turned out to be GOOD(why then spend all that time building suspense that Prescot and Cabinet might be dirty in the first place, to then reveal that they are goody-goody?), and killing Palmer was never a plotline in Season 2. So why going and repeat what was plan in the first season?
Plus, Draizen should have hired Mandy(or whatever her name is) to carry out the hit on Palmer in season 1, since she is so damn efficient, instead of going through ALL that trouble with Jack
I didnt like how they switched between Mike being - Good -Bad - Good - Bad. Still good to see Palmer give him a boot. He was a traitor.
What the hell happened to Jack wounds on the stomach, where he was extensively tortured? Since when he lays on the stretcher, you can see his stomach, and its ALL FINE !!!!
I didnt like the moment where Jack had to BEG for help. Please Mrs Palmer, help me get out of this car seat !!! Come on, Jack is not the guy I want to see begPlus 10 minutes later, he is kicking ass in HAND COMBAT, but once he kills the guy, his heart condition is BACK. Right in time for Kingsley showdown. And whats with CLICHED, bad guy who talks and talks before killing the hero. I thought 24 was better than that

Still, Best line this episode:
Chappelle: Tony !!! Whats up MY FRIEND !!!!
Tony: Ryan, Either fire me, or GET THE HELL AWAY FROM MY CHAIR !!!
Awesome sceneAlso look on Carry face when she saw Tony back was priceless. Too bad Michelle didnt kicked Carry ass.
I like her, mostly because she was one of the main characters in Wolf Lake Ruby KatesOriginally posted by MVS

Last night, my wife and I finally finshed watching the entire DVD set of Season 1 -- all 24 episodes, plus the alternate ending.
In a word: Brilliant.
We got hooked on Season 2, and it was completely worth it to go back and watch the first season -- especially nice with no commercials. A great deal, too. The entire 6 DVD set was around $50.
Having watched the somewhat sappy alternate ending, I would have to say that the producers made the right choice. Viewers must have been on the edge of their seats, and then blown away, when the final scene aired.
"Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"
I agree on the choice of the ending at the end of Season 1. It pretty much left audiences in awe, like you just cant end it like that. There are no happy end.
I cant wait for Season 2 DVD release. If US version going to be like UK set I read about, it will have 7 dvds, one full of extras, deleted scenes, documentaries and more.
Also some news and rumors about Season 3:
"24 (TV): SPOILERS AHEAD. Ok for those Aussie and UK fans who've not caught up yet with the end of Season 2, look away now because executive producer Howard Gordon talked with Zap2It this week about what we can expect next season after the shock events in the aforementioned finale. The most notable change will be a time jump - "It's going to be about two, two-and-a-half years later. Many things may have changed. It's a fair amount of time for old wounds to have healed and new ones to have been inflicted". Therefore its likely the cliffhanger elements involving Palmer and Jack will only be referred to rather than solved on the screen. The cast looks to undergo a shake-up as well with the characters of Sherry Palmer (Penny Johnson Jerald) and Kate Warner (Sarah Wynter) are not signed on as regular cast members next season though that news is surprising as Wynter indicated things get 'steamy' next season between her and Jack to the Aussie press recently. Their exclusion however does not mean they're entirely out, and it seems almost certain they'll appear in a few eps much like Nina (Sarah Clarke) did this year - "Nothing is impossible. In fact, Kate does make an appearance, but she's not been cast as a regular. The same goes for Penny. This is real fluid. They are characters that live in our universe, and it's entirely possible that they'll be back".
