Well, I guess your complaints about Kate are valid. She doe whine alot, but they have her to play on family/sisters conflict, to have a good counterweight to Marie's bad. But I agree, that even though she is helping CTU, she tends to interfere with the procedings, and questions Jack alot, especially all those moral aspects of what he did/does.
Maybe they will make her a love interest for Jack at the end?
Well, I also sad to see Mason go, but he started falling apart, literaly. His presense added more drama to the story, with man on brink of death, still trying to do his job.
New addition to computer department, and her conflict with Michelle, was little bit out of place. Maybe if it was done earlier in the show, it would look better, but not they should put all the attention to bomb/terrorist subplots, and further reveal Goverment conspiracy, instead of repeating daughter in danger trick, that was used in Season 1, or trying to introduce new characters this far into the season.
From watching next weeks previews, it looks like another interesting episode, especially with revalation of impossiblity of disarming the bomb, and Jack's choice of being the one to fly it away before it explodes. I wonder if they would really kill him?
[Fox Network entertainment president Gail] Berman said "24" was the fifth-highest rated program on television, and announced that Fox would renew the program for a third season. "By making the pickup now, we can give the producers ample time to go complete the course of the season, and plant the seeds for the next one," she said. Ms. Berman said the show would retain its 24-hour concept, but declined to confirm if series star Keifer Sutherland would return. "That could potentially give away a story line,and I'm not into doing that," she said.
They kill Kiefer, that show is dead to me. Dead! Like the upwards of 350 people killed in the show or the over 22 killed by Jack Bauer.
Well...realisticly, how many time can one guy save America? I dont mind if they move to a new person, as long as that person does a good job, and they dont go and get somebody who sucks ass.
As far was what the plot is going to be, if they have a new person it can be anything they want to.
I have to say, the whole time during Ep 15, I was thinking that Mason was on the plane. Makes no sense for him to go to the Airport, if he's not going to fly that thing.
