It's almost never the good games that drop in price. I have never seen Rez, Way of the Samurai, or Sky Gunner for anything less than full price. And I doubt these games were big sellers.
Then again, I hardly see any good deals in my city.
EDIT!
To Korian before the merge:
Yeah, I have a thought.
You're farkin blind.

I posted in Dolemite's thread before I made mine so I'm not blind.
Um this isn't a Discount thread like Rich's or Dolemites.
It was a genralized discussion on the state of the industry as a whole and how niche titles may be overlooked if future price cuts dominate the industry.
At least I'm in good comapny with Dolemite who's a cool guy.
Yeah, Korian's thread was a different topic so I don't think merging them was necessary.
Dolemite, Headhunter was one of my favorite DC games. The camera can be a pain and the story is run of the mill but still a good game.
And Korian I've thought alot about that recently. My guess is the stakes of the industry are high enough that companies are always trying to get their product out even if it means a undercut. Games like Turok and Muto won't age well so reducing the price and moving large numbers quick is perhaps the only way to approach the original budget for the title.
As for the GBA games, that's frickin obscene. KOF and Guilty Gear got minute pressings. I went out of town a few weeks ago and found Degenki Blocks and Pocky and Rocky GBA for $10...and according to the salesperson I was the first person to buy a copy of ethier. *-neo
I dunno...I thought I was reading the same thread when I encountered Korian's post. If you're really trying to make a different point, go ahead and repost it, but I think things are better this way.Originally posted by NeoZeedeater

I thought Headhunter had the best gun fights in any (non-fps) I've played. I pretty much agree with what everyone else said about it too. Good game, not great.

That's odd, I thought it looked like an interesting topic that will now die as a small part of one of the many many (although helpful) discount threads.Originally posted by burgundy

Decent price, same reason though as Gungrave. Love the comics and their looks in the game, plus sweet combos.X-Men: Next Dimension- $39.99
