They actually don't own them outright, but they are the largest shareholder with 38%.

  2. It took forever, but I finally found a copy of this game the other day. I am convinced Konami doesn't want anyone to buy this game - I think they shipped all of 4 copies, and the box art is up there with some of the worst NES covers. The only way you could make it worse is by slapping a "FROTHING" on it. But the game is fantastic. I hereby declare it...

THE BEST GENESIS GAME OF 2003!!!

This is the kind of game this board should be all over. WHY HAVEN'T YOU ALL BOUGHT IT YET.

  3. Since Shinobi on the GBA sucked and we probably won't be seeing Ninja Gaiden Advance, I'm seriously considering in picking up Ninja Five-0. We definitely need more good ninja games.

And yes, the cover art is very cheezy.

  4. Does any one have any details as to what stores will be carrying it? Gamestop isn't, & my EB shows this as active in their system but never recieved any copies of it. I would like to buy it locally if I can. Has anyone seen this at a TARGET, Wal-Mart, Circuit City, or any other physical store?

  6. Does the JPN version have the same title?

"A cross between Shinobi and Bionic Commando"

I agree with this statement wholeheartedly. I can't think of any higher praise for it. Great, great game. This is the kind of thing I wish there was 100 times more of on the GBA, and the kind of thing that hardly made anymore, even on the GBA: excellent, original, non-franchised, non-licensed 2D games. If you consider yourself any kind of 2D-loving gamer at all, you need to at least give this game a try.

  8. Can't find it anywhere. I'm sick of people acting like I am insane when I ask about it too. I really want to avoid ordering it online. Hopefully this will be like Guilty Gear Advance and KoF EX NeoBlood in that they were hard to find at first but gradually became more readily available.

  9. I don't know if there is a Japanese version...in Europe it's Ninja Cop. Or at least that's what the rom's called.

Gamestop blows. They waited months to stock Winning Eleven, too. Maybe they got beef with Konami.

I got my copy at EB, but it took quite a bit of searching to find it. Most stores didn't get any in. I had to settle for their open box copy. Bahhh.

I haven't seen the game anywhere else, and this doesn't seem like the game that's going to get a re-release. Get it online while you can. Non-Nintendo GBA games disappear far too quickly, and this one seems harder to get than most.

  10. I've seen it at a Gamestop. It's getting really low distribution, apparently.

Just go buy it online already.
