Thread: most disappointing game purchase...

*speechless* Someone else who didn't like it?! I'm amazed... Damn near thought I was the only one on this board who thought ill of CBFD.

  2. Waverace 64. I hated it. I tried and tried to get into it, but never could. I don't know what those reviewers were talking about.

  4. Dark Savior is an odd game. It succeeds at a lot of things, but some of those things just aren't much fun. That being said, I got it for about a dollar, so I can't say that I was disappointed with it.

i was loved the first tribes. waited for what seemed like forever for the sequel only to have the same damn problem as Riptwo...my biggest problem was trying to run an open GL only game on my "totally sweet" voodoo 5...

Conker sucked. There isn't much else to say. It was the worst out of Rare's collect-a-thons on the N64, and that is saying something with DK64 in there.

  7. Dark Savior for Saturn

  8. Spy Hunter ps2, Star Wars Rogue Leader gcn, and Castlevania: Circle of the Moon gba. All three I had high hopes for, only to take them out of thier respective systems within 15 minutes of game time
I guess you've learned the benifit to waiting.
I agree, they should give people like you something. Perhaps a kick in the balls would do nicely and make you slightly less retarded.

  9. In reverse order (begining with the most tollerable let down):

    Hoshigami
    Thousand Arms
    Splinter Cell
    Steel Batallion

I think you guys are giving The Bouncer a pretty raw deal. It most certainly didn't live up to the hype. In that reguard, Squaresoft lied to all of us. It didn't do a damned thing they said it would. However, to outright pan the game simply because it wasn't what you expected?! We should be beyond that.

It was utter crap for what Square had hyped it up to be, but it was an excellent little beat'em-up which stood on it's own merrit, and it was beautiful to boot.

Not the second coming, but not as asstastic as some of you would have us believe.

Oh damn, I want to change my answer now. Hoshigami was definitely a big letdown for me. I was certain that this game was going to be great, but it ended up being quite a mess of a game. The battle system was needlessly complex, making the game very unapproachable. I just could not get into the game. I guess the graphics were alright, though...
