Silent Hill 2. I enjoyed the game... but it wasn't crap-in-your-pants scary as the first one. I only hope that SH3 can fill in those shoes.
The original Metal Slug X is the best in the series if you ask me. The PSX port however... I bought it, I enjoy it a bit, but the severe animation cuts and milk filled enemies really ruin it for me.Originally posted by neoalphazero
Metal Slug X (PSone) - I love the original Slug but I really can't get into this one, the flow of the action could be better. *-neo

It's funny. When I first played Sonic Adventure 2 I felt the same way. I hated the game and I was heartbroken and frustrated like I never have been with a game. So I quit playing. A few months later I tried to play it again and had the same results. I hated the Knux levels. I hated the camera. I hated everything....Originally posted by Chibi Nappa
Sonic Adventure 2 was a horrible letdown after a spectacular 1st game. I never played past level 2. I don't care how good the rest of the game might be, that Knuckles level is just too awful to ever bother playing through.
But then a few months after that (last winter) I went back and played it yet again.... and for some reason I managed to get over the game's flaws. They just dissipated away as I got used to it. I still hated the Knux levels but I got over it. I finished the Hero side. Which was my only goal.. but I had so much fun on the latter Sonic levels that I simply had to play the Dark side and I did that non-stop for a week and had a blast.. and then I finished the "last mode" as well.. then, I was having so much fun I started emblem collecting too...
So, for me Sonic Adventure 2 is a strange game.. I went from loathing it to really enjoying it.

Mario 64 was crap. The whole point of the game seemed to be fighting the horrible controll and not making Mario walk right off a cliff.
I'm not sure exactly what to say here. First you talk about how great of a game Maximo is![]()
Then you bash the greatest 3D platformer of all time. I know everyone has their own personal opinion and I'm not trying to shit on yours here. It just blows my mind that you think Maximo is great(total shit IMO and has one of the worst cameras ever) and that Mario 64 is shit(what?!?!)

*Great level design
*Actual enemies populating the levels
*Great control
*Great combat
*Great graphics
*Long levels that actually had a point
*Fun!
Mario 64 had:
*Short boring levels
*Maybe one or two goombas somewhere in the level that you could just walk around anyway
*Controll so annoying it was a challenge to mearly walk in a straight line
I'll never, ever understand how the world can have so much love for the crappy playing game that killed the old fun Mario we grew up with (64), and so much indifference or just plain hate for the great Mario game that followed it up, fixed every single flaw present in Mario 64, and made Mario fun again (Sunshine).
And I'm even more puzzled how anybody can find anything wrong with Maximo outside of the cammera. And the cammera wasn't any worse than any other camera in any other 3D game and never hindered play.

I don't understand the attraction to the Silent Hill games. Did nothing for me. I guess I'm a RE whore.
Star Fox Adventures.
I was all hyped about it. The graphics, the Zelda-esc gameplay, the flying levels.
It turned out to be LAME.
The story was horse shit.
The music made me want to kill.
All of the pointless shit you had to do, like play ball with that gash of a dinosaur.
Voice acting.
torneko. it was an enix game with a main character from dragon warrior 4. i thought it'd be pretty interesting seein' as how i'd never played one of those random dungeon games. it was fun for about 5 hours. after about 10 hours of loosing my mind trying to play through that game and get some kind of enjoyment out of it i just gave up. the music was the only thing good about that game. i sold it for store credit. i never do that.
